Why this training exists

Sexual wellbeing shows up in your work whether you trained for it or not.

Practitioners across health, education, coaching, community and organisational settings encounter it constantly, and most receive little or no formal training in how to respond.

This programme provides evidence informed, ethically grounded education so professionals can support sexual wellbeing safely, appropriately, and within their existing scope of practice.

It is designed to build clarity and confidence, not clinical authority, and it assumes no prior specialist knowledge.

Who it is designed for

Six kinds of practitioner.

If sexual wellbeing comes up in your work and you have never been trained in how to handle it, you are the audience.

EducatorsTeachers, trainers and facilitators.
Counsellors and therapistsWorking within your existing modality.
CoachesLife, relationship and wellbeing.

Learning outcomes

What you will be able to do.

By the end, you will

  • Understand sexual wellness within a biopsychosocial framework.
  • Apply trauma aware and inclusive communication.
  • Recognise and maintain professional scope and boundaries.
  • Respond appropriately to disclosures and sensitive topics.
  • Support clients without pathologising or over sexualising.
  • Integrate sexual wellness literacy into your existing role.

What it will not do

  • It will not qualify you as a therapist or a clinician.
  • It will not authorise you to treat sexual dysfunction.
  • It will not replace supervision, your own professional body's requirements, or your existing training.

It builds literacy and ethical confidence, which is a different and more useful thing than a credential you cannot lawfully use.

Programme structure

Five modules, in sequence.

Each builds on the last, moving from foundational literacy through to applied practice and organisational integration.

Module one

Foundations of Sexual Wellness

The base literacy everything else rests on.

Module two

Sexual Wellness Across the Lifespan

How this changes across life stages and contexts.

Module three

Trauma Aware and Ethical Practice

Scope, boundaries, and doing no harm.

Module four

Communication, Boundaries and Real World Scenarios

What to actually say, and when not to.

Module five

Integration into Education, Organisations and Policy

Taking it back into your setting.

How it is delivered

Self paced, professional in tone, practical in use.

Video and text lessons combine with applied reflection prompts, scenario based learning, and downloadable practice resources. Learning is professional in tone and practical in application, and there is nothing to attend.

Professional integrity

We are clear about what this is.

This programme is educational and is designed to strengthen ethical, informed practice within your existing scope. It does not qualify participants as therapists or clinicians, and it does not authorise the treatment of sexual dysfunction.

Being explicit about that is not a limitation we are apologising for. It is the same clarity the programme is teaching you to hold with your own clients.

If you deliver relationships and sexuality education

The Global RSE Educator Certificate at $1,495 covers internationally relevant, consent grounded frameworks for curriculum and policy. This programme covers the ethical and trauma aware foundations it builds on, so most people take this one first.

Educational, not clinical. The School of Sexual Wellness provides education and wellbeing support. It is not therapy or counselling, does not diagnose or treat medical conditions, and is not a replacement for clinical or professional care.
