Plain English

If something is wrong, we fix it.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law sit on top of everything on this page. We cannot contract out of them and we are not trying to.

Your rights

What the law gives you.

This part is not our policy. It applies whatever we write on this page, and it applies first.

  • Major failure. You are entitled to a replacement or a refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
  • Minor failure. You are entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality.
  • What counts as major. Goods that are unsafe, significantly different from their description, or that you would not have bought had you known the problem.
  • Where the failure is major, the choice of remedy is yours, not ours. Where it is minor, we may choose to repair, replace or refund.
Damaged, faulty, incorrect or missing

Tell us and we will sort it.

Three steps, and none of them involve a form or posting anything back before we have looked at it.

Email us

Send your order number and a photograph of the item and its packaging to hello@schoolofsexualwellness.com, within a reasonable time of delivery.

We assess it

You do not need to send anything back before we assess a claim. If we do ask for a return, we cover the cost of it.

We put it right

A replacement or a refund. Where the failure is major, which of those it is remains your choice rather than ours.

On Barely pieces, there is also the ninety day replacement

If anything arrives faulty or stops working within the first ninety days, email us and a replacement ships. No forms, no return postage. That sits on top of everything above rather than instead of it.

Change of mind

Offered as a courtesy, with conditions.

This part is not a legal entitlement, so the conditions are real. None of it affects your rights if a product is faulty.

Sol supplements

Unopened with the manufacturer's seal intact, within 14 days of delivery.

We cannot accept opened products or broken seals, because supplements are ingestible and ship from a third party warehouse. Not available on international orders. Return postage is at your cost.

Barely pleasure products

Unopened with all hygiene seals intact, within 14 days of delivery.

Once an intimate product has been opened we cannot accept it back, even unused, for health and safety reasons. Return postage is at your cost.

Courses and digital products

Access is granted immediately and cannot be returned, so there is no change of mind refund once access has been issued.

If a programme is not as described, or not fit for the purpose we stated, contact us. The Shift Method also carries its own Two Week Test refund.

None of the above affects your rights if a product is faulty.

Refused or unclaimed parcels

If a parcel comes back to us.

Worth knowing before it happens, because the shipping and any duties are already spent by that point.

  • Refused at delivery, or returned unclaimed, or sent back because the address was incomplete: we can refund the cost of the goods, but not the shipping, and not any duties already incurred.
  • Unless the goods were faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered. In that case you are covered in full, including shipping.
How refunds are paid

Back where they came from.

Refunds go to your original payment method. Once we process one, your bank or card issuer usually takes a few business days to clear it, and that part is outside our control.

If a subscription renewal is charged after you have asked us to cancel, tell us and we will refund it in full.

More detail on shipping, customs and subscriptions is on Support and FAQs. Body safe materials and product standards are on the Barely body safe standard.

Returns

We would rather hear from you.

Situations that do not fit neatly into the above get handled on their own merits. There is no script and no automated queue.
